PDFs bomb two administrator offices in Belin as warning

The People’s Defense forces warned two administrator offices in Thaunggyi and Pauktaw villages in Mon State’s Belin Township by throwing bombs.

The joint force of PDFs attacked two administrator offices around 9 p.m. on December 12.

Some parts of the office were destroyed by the attack, but no casualties have been reported.

A member of PDFs said that the office was bombed because they did not want to accept the junta elections and did not want any administrative bodies in Belin Township.

Meanwhile, the KNLA joint forces attacked the military convoy on Yangon-Mawlamyine Road near Belin’s old tollgate in Belin’s Daukyat village around 7 pm.

Some junta forces were reportedly killed in the attack, and the details are still being investigated.

The junta intervention exacerbated the conflict with the joint forces of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) in Belin Township, held by KNU Brigade 1.
