NUG says Military council’s plan to sell land and buildings of Myanmar embassies abroad is illegal

The National Unity Government (NUG) has declared that any attempt by the military council to sell land and buildings of Myanmar embassy abroad is completely illegal.

The NUG said that all attempts by the military council, which does not represent the people, to sell whole or part of embassy land and buildings owned by Myanmar citizens, were completely illegal and that it was strictly forbidden to do so.

If the sale is made despite the warning, the NUG government must assume that it has the full right to take legal action against the military council or buyer or both in a court of competent jurisdiction.
