Northern military collation pledges to help MNDAA in taking back its territory

The Northern Alliance military collation groups—the United League of Arakan/ the Arakan Army (ULA/AA ) and the Palaung State Liberation Front/ Ta’ang National Liberation Army (PSLF/TNLA)— has promised in their joint message  to hounour the 34th anniversary of  their ally Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) to retake latter’s territory which was lost to the Myanmar military nearly 14 years ago.

The Myanmar National Truth and Justice Party/ Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army  (MNTJP/MNDAA)  was founded by  Kokang  leader U Peng Jiasheng, and it was pressured by the Myanmar military to reform into a border guard force in August 2009.

To avoid armed conflicts  and devasting impacts on civilians , the army of Kokang Special Region (1) or MNDAA abandoned their territory at that time.

The MNTJP/MNDAA   is a member of the Federal Political Negotiation and Consultative Committee (FPNCC), and it is struggling for its political objectives of peace, national equality, self-administration, liberation of all the oppressed nationals from military dictatorship and the emergence of genuine democratic federal Union.

The message also said MNTJP, under the leadership of Chairman U Peng Jiasheng  to retake its Kokang area and to realize military and political objectives, is fighting together with its allies, resistances forces of Spring Revolution, and other like-minded organizations which value coordinative efforts and gain public support.

In conclusion, the allies also wished in the message for the immediate fulfillment of Kokang people’s expectation and the military and political objectives.
