Mindat Suffered 67 Airstrikes in a Year

In 2023  the Junta’s planes  carried out 67 air-strikes in Mindat Township, southern Chin State, causing the death of six local civilians, 15 injuries, and the destruction of a total of 61 houses and buildings, according to Chinland Defence Force – Mindat (CDF-Mindat).

Among the structures affected were 49 residential houses, 4 monasteries, 4 churches, and 4 schools, while a car and 7 motorcycles also incurred damage during the air raids.

Throughout the year, there were 32 clashes between the Military Council and CDF-Mindat, resulting in 72 fatalities and 41 injuries on the Military Council's side, while 2 CDF-Mindat comrades lost their lives and 10 sustained injuries, CDF-Mindat stated.
