Military convoys hit mines in Depayin township

A member of the local defense force said that military council vehicles entering Depayin township hit mines three times on August 31.

Three military vehicles leaving Yae Oo, Sagaing Region hit mines near the bus stop in Phayar Htut Village, Depayin Township near Kyakhat village about four miles from Phayar htut village and near Sai Pyin Gyi village.

After the blasts, the military checked passers-by and continued to Budalin township.
