KIA and PDF attack hill-based camp in Hseng Taung with drones

According to people close to the Hpakant PDF, on the night of February 19, a joint force of KIA and PDF attacked the Military Council’s hill-based camp in Hseng Taung village, Hpakant township, Kachin state.

A source close to Hpakant PDF told KNG that a joint force of the KIA and PDF attacked the Military Council's hill-based camp near No.2 ward of Hseng Taung (Seikmu) village around 11:00 on February 19 with drones.

"Yes, they went to shoot at night. 79 mm weapons. I thought there were some casualties on the other side because they planned to shoot carefully. As it was late at night, the exact number of casualties is unknown," the source said.

The shooting lasted for nearly 30 minutes, and the Military Council fired back with artillery shells and small arms.

However, the KNG is still investigating in detail whether there are any casualties on both sides.

The hill-based camp in Hseng Taung has been subjected to frequent indiscriminate shelling and more searches of civilians.
