Immigration, administration offices in Mon townships under bomb attacks

Bomb attacks took place at an immigration office and a village administration office in Mon State.

On 22 February evening, a bomb blasted in front of the Mon State’s immigration and population headquarters in Mawlamyine city. In 15 minutes later near, another explosion happened at the  administration office of Hlaing Ward, causing some damages   at the brick walls and no one  injured in the incident,  said the locals to Than Lwin Times.

On 23 February morning, another ward administration office in Thanbuyzayet Township totally collapsed in a bomb attack, without causing any injuries.

Junta forces then inspected the incidents which have not been claimed by any group.

The same immigration office and the local administration offices came under attacks in early October last year.

There were some damages, and no one was wounded at that time.

The junta troops are conducting offensive attacks on some townships of Mon state, and the local resistance forces ‌are targeting military’s checkpoints, police stations, local administration offices and their convoys more frequently.
