Checking of health conditions and taking personal bio data is taking place on all people entering Naypyitaw.

Checks are taking place at entry and exit gates of Naypyitaw

such as Naypyitaw toll tax gate, Taung Nyo express way toll tax gate, Yangon-Mandalay old highway Tharwutti toll tax gate, Tatkone toll tax gate, and Tatkone-Kinthar-Pinlaung junction toll tax gate.

The authorities are checked the body temperature of all people entering Naypyitaw and those who have a fever are reported to Township Medical Officers and will be sent to hospitals for further checkups and treatment.

As at April 15 there are 74 COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar and most are in Yangon.
