Father of PDF comrade killed in Dawei

The father of a PDF comrade from Kyatsarpyin ward in Dawie of Tanintharyi Region was killed, the sources told Than Lwin Times.

The regime forces and Pyu Saw Htee came to arrest 60-year-old U Kyu Lwin, the father of PDF comrade Ko Aung Khaing, around 11 pm on November 8.

After that, U Kyu Lwin was found dead near a row of palm trees in Kyaukmaw ward on the morning of November 9.

U Kyu Lwin died from a gunshot wound to the head, and clothing had been folded over his face.

U Kyu Lwin has been at home for months, unable to work owing to sickness, according to the locals.

The dead body of U Kyu Lwin was taken to a hospital by a social rescue team.

U Kyu Lwin’s wife, Daw Nyunt Hlaing, was killed by unknown gunmen while selling durian fruit at the Dawei Kannar road market on May 24.

According to the Southern Monitor, about 300 civilians were killed in Tanintharyi following the military coup.
