Emergency closure announced on Tedim–Tonzang Road amid military situation

The Chinland Defence Force-Tonzang (CDF-Tonzang), a local resistance group, announced a temporary closure of the Tedim–Tonzang Road due to escalating military tensions in Tonzang Township, Chin State.

The CDF-Tonzang urged locals to avoid all travel on the road starting May 11, adding that the closure will remain in effect indefinitely.

The group also called on residents from villages east and west of Tonzang Town to refrain from traveling to other areas for the time being.

Amid heightened military tensions in the region, the CDF-Tonzang warned local communities to remain vigilant and strictly follow the instructions issued by resistance forces.

The CDF-Tonzang decided to close the Tedim–Tonzang Road after a junta military column was reported advancing toward Tonzang along the route.
