A bomb exploded at of Muse airport in Shan State, on February 1.

A Muse resident reported that, “ Today around 9:00 a.m., a bomb exploded at the airport. It exploded in the old airport. They said there is a possibility of another explosion. Traffic has been restricted.”

On February 1, the 2nd anniversary of the military coup, people participated in a silent strike in Muse Township.

“I don’t know who planted the bomb. But today there is a silent strike at Muse. Markets are also closed. ,” said a local man from Muse.

After the bomb blast, the Military Council troops are conducting strict checks on those traveling into Muse township.
