Locals said a female employee of a mobile phone shop in Sagaing township was arrested by the Military Council for allegedly having links with the People's Defense Force (PDF).

Phyu Mar Tun (a.k.a) Phyu Mar Ko, about 20-year-old, was arrested at Eleven Mobile Sale & Service in Po Tan Ward, Sagaing.

The military also raided the home of Ko Shing Ko, the Sagaing Emergency Rescue Service (SERT) and confiscated a laptop, a motorcycle, and valuables.
