On February 25th, Mon National Day, the New Mon State Party - Anti-Dictatorship (NMSP-AD) declared its commitment to join forces with other resistance groups and armed factions engaged in the Spring Revolution until the complete overthrow of the military dictatorship.

NMSP-AD also called upon the Mon people to unite with courage and perseverance to swiftly eradicate the military dictatorship.

In a significant development, on February 22nd, NMSP-AD convened with the National Unity Government (NUG) and mutually agreed to collaborate as strong allies in the ongoing revolution.
