The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on 20th October that Myanmar and Brunei Darussalam have brought in mutual visa exemptions for short stays, according to the Global New Light of Myanmar on 21st October.

Myanmar and Brunei Bring in Mutual Visa Exemption

According to the ministry, the two countries, inspired by the desire to strengthen the existing friendly relations in all fields between them and desiring to simplify the procedures and facilitate the travel of citizens of the two countries, exchanged a note of mutual exemption of visa for Ordinary Passport holders and brought the measure in on 1st September 2014.

The visa exemption allows a visit of up to 14 days.
