Burma military intelligence agent killed by KIA
A military intelligence agent of the Burmese Army’s Military Affairs Security (MAS) was killed on Friday at about 3 p.m. local time in eastern Kachin State by the Kachin Independence Army, witnesses said.

The officer was killed when KIA soldiers opened fire on the MAS office in Namsan Yang village, in Waingmaw Township, on the Myitkyina-Manmaw (Bhamo) Road, which is also close to KIA headquarters at Laiza, added witnesses.
KIA officials in Laiza confirmed the death to the Kachin News Group.
