Four KNDF 8th Battalion Sacrifice Lives in Bid to Capture The Karenni Capital

Four comrades from the 8th Battalion of the Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF) sacrificed their lives during operations to capture Loikaw Township. The memorial service was held in their honour  on March 26.

These KNDF members fell in an intense battle against the Junta forces on March 25.

According to the KNDF statement, Thet Zaw Linn, Saw El Htoo Win, Pho Choke, and Kanaly, the four fallen comrades, will be immortalized as heroes.

In the 'Operation 1111', which commenced on November 11 and continues to unfold in the downtown area of Loikaw, significant casualties have been observed on both sides.
