The fire started in refugee Aduh Chobby’s home.

U Kyaw Soe Lwin said: “The Fire department estimated that the fire caused about 8 million kyats worth of damage. We are now taking action against Aduh Chobby.”

The authorities have made temporary shelters for those whose accommodation was burnt down. They are also supporting them with food such as rice, oil and salt as well as shelters and blankets.

Two state ministers and state government officials brought aid to the survivors and told them they had their support.
