Junta forces in Bawlakhe township attacked at several locations by PDF battalions Bawlakhe Township Karenni State

The  Bawlakhe People's Defense Force (BPDF) joint forces carried out an attack on Junta troops stationed in Bawlakhe Township, Karenni State with casualties on both sides according to one PDF official.

In Bawlakhe township they attacked  the police station, the immigration office, and the broadcasting station, resulting in the death of seven soldiers belonging to the Military Council, while at least 13 others were injured.

Two resistance fighters from the Bawlakhe People's Defense Force (BPDF) 1105 Battalion were also killed.

The attack, which commenced at 4:50 am on May 1st, lasted for two hours. It has been reported that the bodies of the Military Council soldiers who were killed and the injured patients were airlifted by helicopter.

A spokesperson for the Bawlakhe People's Defense Force (BPDF) stated, "On May 2nd, they were airlifted by helicopter, and we are uncertain if any officers were among them. Following our attack on the township, the Military Council has reinforced security measures throughout the town and surrounding areas."

According to the Bawlakhe People's Defense Force (PDF), they confiscated a G4 rifle, an AK-22 rifle, six boxes of G4 ammunition, three boxes of AK ammunition, one grenade, and several bullets from the Military Council troops during the course of the fighting.

The Military Council troops stationed in Bawlakhe township were attacked by a joint force consisting of the Bawlakhe People's Defense Force (BPDF) 1105 Battalion and the HpaSaung People's Defense Force (PPDF) 1108 Battalion.
