One more female singer prosecuted for using ‘black profile’ sticker on social media

Female singer May La Thanzin was charged by the military junta with Penal Code 505 (A) for using ‘ black profile’ sticker on her social media.

She is remanded at  East Dagon police station, according to the source close to Yangon Police Force.

She was arrested from her house on 21 April for posting ‘black profile’ sticker and comments on the military’s massacre in Pazigyi village, and then sent to Aung Thabyay interrogation center.

The military also prosecuted some other persons in relation to Pazigyi massacre.

Lawsuits were also filed against Actress May Pachi, Sing Shwe Yi Theindan, Journalist Kyaw Min Swe and another 28-year-old girl from Dagon Myothit (North) in the same case.

Regard these arrests, Than Lwin Times contacted to their respective associations and councils many times, but thy failed to reply on this.

In the airstrike on 11 April over Pazigyi village in Pazigyi village, Kantbalu Township, Sagaing region, around 170 civilians were killed.
