KNDF Battalion 10 Deputy Company Commander killed in Nan Hu Tway battle – Karenni state

KNDF announced on January 24 that Deputy Company Commander Phoe Cho Me Reh of the 10th Battalion of the Karenni Nationalities Defense Force (KNDF) was killed in the battle of Nan Hu Tway in Demoso, Karenni State.

He was killed in a fight with the Military Council on January 23, according to the statement. Khu Nye Reh, Minister of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Karenni state.

A battle broke out in Nan Hu Tway village in Demoso town with the Military Council troops who had launched an operation.

“At Nan Hu Tway, we had the 9th KNDF battalion, and there was a confrontation. The fighting calmed down in the morning, and then in the afternoon they came with the warplanes. There was also artillery rounds from the 102 and 427 battalions,” he said.

Khu Nye Reh said that as the Military Council launched an air attack during the battle, three members of the Karenni Local Defense Joint Force may have been killed, but the details are still unknown.

The Karenni People’s Defense Force (KPDF) also announced that two comrades were killed in a battle in Demoso on January 23. Kantarawaddy Times is still investigating the details of the fighting.
