PDF successfully manufactures naval mines

The Beautiful-Hearted Gangsters (Myingyan) People's Defence Force (PDF) group has been successfully manufacturing naval mines which they will use to attack junta ships on the Ayeyarwaddy (Irrawaddy) River.

The group, from Mandalay's Mingyan Township, uploaded a video showing successful test detonations of five naval mines to their official social media account on 3 July.

A representative of the Beautiful-Hearted Gangsters (Myingyan) said: ''We have been testing naval mines since last year. We successfully developed them this year. A mine can cause an explosion the height of a palm tree. The main purpose of producing naval mines is to blow up all kinds of junta ships.''

He added that the group had tested many mines since last year and that each mine costs more than 100,000 kyats.

Junta troops and Pyu Saw Htee members from Mingyan Township go up and down the Ayeyarwaddy River in boats and speedboats, invading and raiding villages on the river banks and collecting bribes from ships navigating on the river, according to local residents.

The Beautiful-Hearted Gangsters (Myingyan) will be attacking junta troops and Pyu Saw Htee members on the Ayeyarwaddy River as part of their recently launched Pyi Taw Pyan Operation.
