Junta prepares to march to Demoso in full strength

The military's army has been preparing to march to Demoso in full strength, the Karenni Public Defense Force said.

On March 27 and 28, the military expanded the force by sending 40 armored vehicles from Loikaw to Demoso, and tanks were also sent there on March 26.

The incident has further increased the tension between the two sides.

An official from Karenni State’s PDF said they have been watching the latest developments in detail.

Fighting between the military and the local PDFs in Kayah has intensified and is now quiet this week.

At that time, the army built up its troops.

After the military takeover, the clashes between the junta and local PDFs forced more than 200, 000 people to flee to safety places and IDP camps.
