Mother And Son Injured During Taunggyi Bomb Attacks

Last Thursday, two people were injured by explosions at Ocean Mall in Taunggyi, the capital of Shan State. A witness told SHAN that two explosions occurred near the Asian Light shop at 2:30pm on 2 December.

“A woman and her son were wounded when a timed explosive device went off right next to them. Blood shot out of her head and her leg and hand were also injured. Her son’s leg was injured,” the man said.

A volunteer medical team took both of them to the hospital. Police investigated the area where the explosions had occurred and stopped everyone they saw.
