Five bombs explode in Hmawbi township

Locals said that bombs exploded on October 7 at five places, including the Mytel towers, in Hmawbi in Yangon region.

The attacks were the first in Hmawbi township in over eight months and included the Union Solidarity and Development Party (USDP) office.

The Mytel tower in the compound of Nang Oo Monastery and the Mytel tower on Nat Sin Road were also damaged by bombs.
