The Special Court in Zabu Thiri township has set a date for the sentencing of three defendants, including Aung San Suu Kyi, under Section 505 (b) of the Criminal Code, according to her lawyer.
The three defendants were charged under Section 505 (b) of the Criminal Procedure Code. The two sides' arguments were heard at a meeting on September 14. It is known from the lawyer that the hearing lasted about 30 minutes.
“The court has scheduled the judgement for an indictment on Monday, September 21," said Daw Min Min Soe, the Counsellor’s lawyer.
She explained that although the Aung San Suu Kyi’s cases were being investigated weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays, she was not examined yesterday due to ill health.
"Yesterday, her car dizziness was not related to her health. when she returned, a test for COVID-19 was conducted. No virus was found. She felt fresh today. She said she took medication,” said Min Min Soe.
Before the trial, we got a chance to meet the client to discuss the case briefly. The cases that could not be heard for more than two months due to public holidays.
