Military council threatens to confiscate apartments and houses linked to terrorism

The military council has issued a statement targeting landlords who allow members of the National Unity Government and the People's Defense Forces to live in rented accommodation, threatening to seize the property.

The announcement issued by the Anti-Terrorism Central Committee said that landlords must report the guest list to the relevant administration office with full details of the tenant’s personal data as they have responsibility to repot the guest list according to the Ward or Village Administration Law (17).

The announcement alleged that the Committee of Representatives of the People's Assembly (CRPH), National Unity Government (NUG) and People's Defence Forces (PDF) have been involved in bombings Arson and killings across the country.

Landlords were also instructed to report to the relevant authorities if anything suspicious was found from tenants.
