AA releases video of 13 Tatmadaw prisoners

Arakan Army (AA) released a video which shows 13 soldiers from Tatmadaw (government military) said to have been captured in an engagement in Paletwa Township, Chin State along with their arms and ammunitions.

The video claimed the soldiers were captured on a mountain range, west of Pakawa village, Paletwa Township, Chin State, contiguous with Rakhine State, on November 19.

In the approximately 7-minute video, the soldiers were recorded with their names, ranks and addresses.

Mizzima cannot yet confirm the news with independent sources.

The AA claims that they are from Light Infantry Battalion 313 under command of 77th Light Infantry Division and there is one platoon commander with Lieutenant Rank, one Warrant Officer, three corporals and eight privates.

Moreover, the video claimed that in this battle, eight soldiers including a captain were killed in action.
