Chin Unity Forum to be held in Kalaymyo

The Chin Unity Forum will be held in Kalay Township, Sagaing Region on July 28 to boost unity among the Chin tribes.

The Chin Unity Forum Coordination Committee’s vice-chair Pu Bawlliana said the Chin Unity Forum will be held at MYA Chapel in Tar Han Mission Ward and Pu Lalduhawma, chair of the Zoram Nationalist Party, has been invited as a special guest.

“We, the Chin tribes, have our own organizations but we have never met under the form of a unity forum. That’s why we have arranged to hold it. We will discuss and find solution on how to unite in the future,” said Pu Bawlliana.

This forum will be the first forum held among the Chin people in Kalaymyo and it aims towards uniting the Chin tribes living in Kalay Township under the same roof.
