Luckily Pu Zo Bawi was uninjured but the two shops were badly damaged.

An eyewitness said: "As it was Sunday no one was in the way or hurt. It is the third time there has been a car accident around here."

The traffic department has been investigating and has questioned Pu Zo Bawi.

Pu Zo Bawi will be contesting constituency number one in Hakha Townnship in the forthcoming 8 November general elections.
