Junta air bombings in Arakan region, kill 23 civilians, injure 49 others in September

In September, the Burmese Air Force intentionally attacked and bombed residential areas in the Arakan region, leading to 23 fatalities and 49 injuries.

On October 2, ULA/AA published details in its “List of Innocent Civilians Killed and Injured in Arakan Region by the Fascist Terrorist Military Commission (FTC) Air Bombings in September 2025. ”

The 23 individuals who lost their lives included 19 men and 4 women. The 49 individuals who were injured consisted of 29 men and 20 women.

In September, the fascist terrorist Burmese Air Force conducted bombings in Kyauktaw and Thandwe, located in Rakhine State, as well as in Paletwa, in Chin State. These areas have been under the control of the Arakan Army

On the afternoon of September 29, the terrorist Burmese Army conducted three airstrikes on Paletwa using jet fighters, resulting in the deaths of two civilian women and injuring 23 others.

Likewise, on the night of September 27, the terrorist Burmese Army attacked Thandwe by dropping bombs twice, resulting in the death of one innocent civilian and injuring five additional individuals.

On the evening of September 12, the Burmese Army, identified as a terrorist group, attacked the dormitories of the “Pinnyar Pan Khin” and “Amyint Thit” private high schools located in Thayet Tabin village, Kyauktaw Township. This assault resulted in the death of 20 students and left 21 others injured.

The Burmese military regime, aided by the Chinese government and receiving assistance in the form of aircraft, drones, and military equipment, has conducted more bombings targeting civilians throughout Myanmar, including Rakhine, than ever before.
