Resistance forces drones attacked the headquarters of the Southeastern Regional Military Command in Mawlamyine, Mon State, despite the deployment of numerous anti-drone systems, during the visit of the Junta’s deputy chief Senior General Soe Win.

At approximately 5:10 pm on April 8, while Junta officials, led by Senior General Soe Win, were conducting an operational meeting at their headquarters in the Rakhinekone area of Mawlamyine, two kamikaze drones struck.

"We carried out the attack using two kamikaze drones. Further assessment of the damage is currently under investigation”, an official from the Alpha Bats Drone Force, operating under the Shar Htoo WOW's Tactical Forces, stated.

Due to the attack, Vice Senior General Soe Win and the regional military commander were promptly evacuated, and concerns arose that two Fokker and jet fighter aircraft could be targeted, prompting immediate scrambling and takeoff, according to the Alpha Bats Drone Force.
