Ballot boxes Arrive Late
People wait for the arrival of late ballot boxes in a ward in Myawaddy, Karen State.
Sa Eh Sue — Ballot boxes have arrived late in some of the wards in Myawaddy, Karen State, according to an NLD observer.
“The ballot boxes didn’t arrive until after 6:30 am, I don’t know what’s happening? We have contacted all responsible persons. The boxes finally arrived at 6:40 am,” said the observer.
These incidents took place at No (4) Ward BEHS Myawaddy Polling Station No (2); Polling Station No (2) Bamarsu Ward Football Stadium Polling Station; and Kyankhin Ward Mu Lon No (5) Polling Station 3.
There have also been reports of things going wrong with voting; some haven’t been able to cast votes even though they have their registration cards.
